Refund Policy

 The Cancellation Window

• Standard Cancellations: If you cancel your reservation prior to the cancellation window disclosed and accepted during your online booking transaction, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.

• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made after the disclosed deadline or within the restricted pre-rental window will be subject to the standard administrative cancellation fee specified at the time of checkout. In compliance with California law, booking cancellation fees where no vehicle possession occurs are non-taxable (0% tax).

Refusal of Service at Pickup

To ensure safety on the road, all rentals are subject to our in-person document and vehicle safety checks at the time of pickup. In the event and rare occasion that:

• A rental cannot be completed because a driver does not meet eligibility requirements (such as failing to provide a valid license, lacking active primary auto insurance, or arriving with an unsafe towing vehicle setup, just to name a few), the reservation will be canceled.

Cancellations due to a failure to meet these mandatory driver eligibility and safety requirements are subject to the standard late cancellation fees specified during your booking process

Weather & Early Returns

• Early Returns: We are unable to offer partial refunds or credits if you choose to return your vehicle or trailer earlier than your scheduled return date and time. 

• Inclement Weather: Rentals take place rain or shine. Standard cancellation windows still apply during periods of bad weather unless Sunline Motors determines it is unsafe to operate the equipment and initiates the cancellation on our end.

Processing Your Refund

Once an eligible refund is initiated by our team, it will be processed back to the original credit or debit card used during booking. While we submit refunds immediately, the exact timeframe for the funds to officially reappear in your account depends entirely on your individual bank or credit card issuer's processing times.
